Inline Stretch Former.
The inline stretch former for irregular cans allows to shape cylindrical blanks into prismatic or oblong canbodies.
The cylindrical canbody blanks are conveyed from the welder to the stretch former without any change of the seam position. During the stretch forming operation, the metal is stressed beyond its elastic limits in order to produce flat and stiff panels. The expansion tool is easily adjustable to perfectly match the canbody size.
